WELCOME!My name is Blakely, and I'm glad you're here.
I am a high school senior, and I've been a Girl Scout since the second grade. For my Gold Award project, I've partnered with the Bald Head Island Conservancy to create a class that teaches people how to live sustainably. From a very young age, the environment and our relationship with it has played a major part of my life. For as long as I can remember, I've been passionate about the environment, and my desire to teach others about it led me to create this class. |

THE CRAFTY CONSERVATIONISTS CLASS
Crafty Conservationists is the class I created for the Bald Head Island Conservancy. The Conservancy does very important work on the island, and the class teaches the island visitors about those efforts. The class also teaches visitors how they can apply the Conservancy's methods in their day-to-day lives. Each class provides visitors with fun activities and games that everyone can try at home.
